Good to know

If you are not Swiss

If you come to work, you must register in any case before starting work (art. 12 para. 1 FNIA).

Missing the registration costs a fine. Anyone who fails to register their arrival within the deadline breaches the obligation and is punished with a fine — and negligence is enough, the law does not require intent. (art. 120 para. 1 let. a LStrI)

Fine set by the canton

«Les infractions aux dispositions de la présente loi sont punies de l'amende jusqu'à 500 francs.»
